PLAVAC - Livestock transport trailers 

Description: Plavac trailers for livestock transport are designed to be towed by Heavy trucks (19-32 to GVW). The superstructures, similar to truck bodies, are assembled on robust chassis with 2 or 3 axles, ensuring a long service life and particularly safety driving behaviour. 

Technical data: 

- Robust chassis made of special aluminium profiles, with longitudinal side beams and intermediate cross-beams 

- Turn-table, with large bearing 

- Trailers with 2 or 3 axles, with double wheels, with 17.5” or 19.5” rims, pneumatic braking system, pneumatic suspension 

- 24V electrical and lighting system, with 2 rear multi-chamber lamps, marking lamps and work lamps 

- Superstructure dimensions depending on needs 

- Designed for pigs, sheep and cattle transport 

- Made entirely of special aluminium plates and profiles, with increased corrosion resistance 

- With 2, 3 or 4 load levels 

- The mobile levels are hydraulically operated by an independent electro-hydraulic kit 

- Locking pins for moving levels 

- Side windows for natural ventilation 

- Electric fans for forced ventilation 

- Thermally insulated roof, adjustable in height 

- Side inspection door 

- Rear loading / unloading ramp, with folding side railings
