OTTO TRAILER SRL respects your right to privacy and processes your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018. This document explains what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

2. Purpose of processing
We collect and process personal data to: handle quote requests, contact the sales team, deliver newsletter subscriptions (opt-in), improve user experience through cookies and analyse aggregated traffic.
3. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Consent — opt-in forms, non-essential cookies
- Performance of a contract — orders, deliveries, invoices
- Legitimate interest — security, aggregated analytics, fraud prevention
- Legal obligation — invoicing and archival under Romanian law
4. Types of data collected
First name, last name, email, phone, company, message content, IP address, user agent, site interactions (via Google Tag Manager only with your consent).
5. Retention
- Sales leads: 36 months from last contact
- Analytics data: 14 months
- Server logs: 90 days
- Fiscal documents: per Romanian law (10 years)
6. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15-22)
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection. To exercise these rights, email office@otto-trailer.ro. We reply within 30 days.
7. Romanian Law 190/2018
Processing performed in Romania complies with Law no. 190/2018 on measures implementing GDPR.

10. International data transfers
We do not transfer personal data outside the EEA, except for technology providers (e.g. Google LLC for Google Tag Manager and Analytics) who apply the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
